At the beginning of the semester I feel about my experiences with reading and listening in English, I feel a mix of excitement, challenge, and growth. Reading in English makes me feel curious because I get to discover new words and expressions that I don’t usually use in my daily life. Sometimes I feel nervous when I see long or difficult texts, but when I start reading, I realize that I can understand. This gives me confidence to keep improving. Listening in English gives me a different feeling. When I try to listen sometimes it is quite difficult because sometimes speakers talk fast or maybe I don’t listen clearly. However, the more I listen to videos, music, or conversations, the more I can help me to listen to English. Now, listening feels enjoyable because it helps me understand real life English. So, both reading and listening make me feel proud of my progress. Even though it still makes me feel like there is a challenge. And then, I think reading and listening in English, I feel that both skills have helped me grow a lot. Reading in English makes me feel more focused because I have to pay attention to every word and sentence. So, I must be careful when I read every word and sentence.

At almost the end of the semester I feel a mix of relief, pressure, overthinking, and motivation. I am relieved because I can see how much progress I have made, but I also feel a bit stressed about the final tasks and exams. Even though I sometimes feel tired, I am proud of myself for staying consistent until now. I also feel a little worried about the results, but I am trying to stay positive and finish the semester. When I think about my reading and listening skills, I realize that both have improved. I can understand texts more easily, identify main ideas, and guess vocabulary from context better than before. My listening skills have also become stronger because I can catch keywords and understand conversations more clearly, even if the speakers talk fast. Although I still face challenges, I feel more confident and prepared. Overall, reading and listening have helped me grow and feel ready for the end of the semester.
